There are a lot of discounts and promo sites that abound nowadays. They sell all kinds of vouchers for restaurants, hotel accommodation, complete tour accommodation, health and grooming, training and more.

That is why I will not be surprised if I will see that life insurance companies will start to offer their products via these discount shopping sites too.

Well I don’t blame these sellers and companies as discount sites have a high audience of potential clients so it is the best way to promote a business. And since discounts can really be tempting, consumers can be easily lured to be impulsive and purchase a coupon.

Thankfully, despite their irresistible offers, I am proud that I still was able to control my purchases and I only buy vouchers if I know that I have an immediate need for it, like the Melo’s Steak promo that I am planning to buy for the birthday celebration of my dad.

But I am glad these discount shopping sites have been invented. It really provided a way to get great discounts and promos.

I posted in my previous entry about the Summer promo of Misibis Bay. I received another email from my childhood friend and is inviting us that we avail of this amazing offer. She is already looking for affordable airfare and we are hoping that we can still find good deals as we know that it is the summer months already and is the start of the peak season.

But in case this plan pushes through, I really have to find a way to lose weight fast so I will be ready for the beach. LOL. I am really hoping that we will be able to avail of this Misibis Bay promo. This is really a steal at almost 50% off so we really don’t want to miss this offer.

I was about to search for clamps for the project that my husband is doing for our new home but I was side tracked when I saw the post of Misibis Bay hotel in their Facebook account.

They are currently doing some renovation works as they are expanding their hotel and so they are offering a discount for their hotel accommodation. Would you believe that you only have to pay for P16,000 net for 3 days and 2 nights stay in their Garden View room and they are giving out this offer during the peak summer months where everybody wants to go out and bask under the sun.

This package comes with airport transfers, buffet breakfast for two and free use of non motorized sports activities.

I always wanted to try out Misibis Bay. My husband is from Bicol and almost every year we fly there but we never get a chance to stay in the resort as the price is quite expensive. Hopefully we can get an affordable airfare so we can avail of this promo.

B will have his Moving Up Day ceremony on March 19 and I can’t believe that my princess is moving up to Grade 1 already. By June, I already have a grade schooler that I can’t help but feel sentimental but proud at the same time.

That is why I want to make his Moving Up Day special. My husband and I already filed a leave from work so we can attend the ceremony and we can celebrate after. For our graduation celebration, I am thinking of availing this promo from Makan Makan Asian Food Village in Hotel H20 so we can bring the whole family for B’s celebration.

I saw the promo from Everything in Budget website and they are offering the Graduation Set Menu Package good for 8 to 10 persons at 50% off.

Instead of paying P9,000, the voucher can be bought for only P4,500 and we can choose from any of the two Graduation Set Menus that they offer. The voucher can be use from March 16 to 31, 2012.

Hotel H2O is just near B’s school so this deal is really perfect.

I was on sick leave yesterday. I was rushed to the Emergency room Tuesday night and was given antibiotics for the infection that I have and I was feeling better the next morning that’s why I decided to go to work. By mid afternoon, I felt dizzy that I vomited a few times. I have to call hubby to fetch me because I feel that I can’t go home by myself in my condition.

By Thursday, I tried getting up but I still feel weak and dizzy so I decided to just stay at home and rest. I am not sure if it was something that I ate or was it the high dose of antibiotics that I am taking. But at least I am sure that it is not prescription drug abuse addiction. LOL.

After being able to rest and recuperate yesterday, I was able to go to work today. We are only open until 1:30 anyways so at least I can go home early and rest some more but I hope I will continue to feel better as I want to enjoy the weekend with my family.
