Looks like I will need
hgh supplement to boost my immune system as we will yet have another busy and hectic week:
- Friday, will be the Christmas party at hubby’s office so after work, I will run there to meet hubby, B and Jacobo to attend the party
- On Saturday, we will accompany B for their school fair
- Sunday will be B’s PE demo in school and after the program, we will run to Ortigas to attend the Christening of my niece, Izzie.
- Then Monday, it is time to go back to work again and for sure my hands will be full as one of my colleague is on leave while my other colleague will be on training. My to-do list is already very long and the week hasn’t even started yet, so good luck really for me.
I hope I survive the weekend and the coming week without getting sick.

Our Weekend,
Our World
One of the things that I am looking forward to next week will be my last hoorah, my last adventure before I go back to work. Since Jacobo is just two months old, we can’t go anywhere far. So even if I wanted an overnight stay in one of the nice resorts in Batangas, I don’t think it will be possible since Jacobo is still too young for long distance travel like that.
So our solution: a quick weekend getaway to one of the hotels here in the city. We have done this a number of time before when I was still pregnant with Jacobo since I can’t travel too because I was advised to have a bed rest and every time, it was always a fun adventure for us.
So for the long weekend of August 28-29, we booked an overnight stay at Sofitel. For sure B will not pass the opportunity in enjoying the nice pool of the hotel. Good thing they have a kiddie pool so hubby and I will not be forced to swim as B can enjoy the pool on her own. But if I am not 15 pounds heavier, I would definitely take a dip too. (But I am actually trying out
apidexin and hopefully it will work miracles for me to help me shed off my excess fat and I will be back in my pre-pregnancy weight in no time).
The overnight stay that we got was actually a complimentary stay since I just signed up for a one year membership to Advantage Plus and Sofitel is one of their accredited hotels. The membership even comes with 50% discount every time we dine it at Spiral so we are really looking forward to it.
I was just browsing my friend’s pictures when they went there a couple of months ago and I can’t help but be excited for our stay there next weekend.

Our Weekend,
Our World,
Travel - Philippines
We were out yesterday as it has been a regular thing for us now to hear our Sunday mass in the church where hubby’s brother is the presiding priest who will officiate the mass. We left around 1 PM for the 2 PM mass at SM Megamall. We thought that there will be no traffic and we can make it there before 2 PM since it is a Sunday anyways but we were wrong.
There was a heavy downpour on our way there that streets are flooded and there was a heavy traffic already. When we reached SM Megamall, the entrance to the parking lot was jam-packed and there was no available parking space. Even the Valet Parking is full also. We waited and waited and we went around the building with the hope that we will find a vacant parking space but to no avail. We spend a good one hour looking for a parking slot and all our efforts were put to waste since we did not make it to my brother-in-law’s mass. This made me wish that we are just at home sitting in front of our
electric fireplace enjoying my hot cup of chocolate drink while I snuggle with hubby and my two kids on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
After an hour of going around in circles, we decided that there is no way that we will be able to park our car to meet with hubby’s siblings so we just decided to go somewhere else. But after an hour, the rain stopped and hubby decided that we go back to SM Megamall since his siblings and their family is still there waiting for us. We got lucky this time and we were able to find a parking slot in the open parking area near Podium.
After we parked our car, we met up with hubby’s siblings and spend a great evening with them as we had dinner at Pizza Hut.
