Still Winter

After I posted my article about the Fleece Blanket that is currently being offered at a discounted price in Artscow, my friends from the other part of the world who is experiencing extreme winter is wishing that they can get a discount too for CozyWinters.com battery heated gloves.

I saw some pictures of my friends in Instagram and I don’t know how they last staying in a country where the temperature reaches -31 degrees Celsius.

I remember when I first went to Canada and it is almost the start of the winder season. So the temperature usually drops to -1 degree Celsius during the evening and I am already at panic every time I have to walk the streets in that temperature, so what more if it is -31.

I guess that is one reason why I decided to stay in this tropical country even if a lot of our friends are already encouraging us to try our luck and look for greener pasture.

There is only one Earth that we can live in and so with the worsening effects of Global warming, we can’t just take this sitting down as we, the people who lives in Earth, should do our part in conserving the environment.

And that is the aim of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Most companies are aiming to get an LEED EB Certification as it means that their building design and construction pass the standards of US Green Building Council which promotes green sustainability among buildings and constructions.

One of the ways to achieve this certification is to conserve energy and that is where Servidyne will come into picture. Servidyne can help company implement solutions to help them cut energy consumption which translates to savings for the company.

With Servidyne, companies are not only lowering their operational cost, but they are also doing their part in saving the environment.

On LEED EB

We have heard and read talks about global warming and no doubt that it is a very alarming situation that calls for our action. That is why our company has initiated Go Green projects that can help conserve energy consumption in our office which in turn can help save the environment.

Our Green Team Environment Committee just submitted a report that we already save around 30% of our energy consumption and now they are looking at more ways on how to conserve energy. One of the ways that they want to implement is by getting the service of Servidyne to help us with our LEED EB Certification. Having a higher LEED EB certification can bring higher savings for the company that is why our company is aiming to get certified soon.

Servidyne engineers have the knowledge and tools to help our company implement green building practices and activities to help us conserve energy and water consumption. This is a win-win scenario since our company will be able to save on operating expenses for electricity and water consumption and at the same time our company is doing our share in helping to conserve the environment.
