I just love discount-shopping sites. Before, promos and offers are only available for restaurants and hotel accommodations. A colleague just resigned from work and last Friday was his last day at the office. He will be managing his family business so he has to work full time for it, which requires him to give up his current job.

I so envy him. At least he will be his own boss. It can be a bit challenging as his monthly income will then be based on how well he will do in managing the business, but at least he will answer only to himself.

If only I have the guts like him, I will resign from work and maybe I will establish my own IT company. I can get an e and o insurance so at least I can secure the company.

Hopefully someday, I will be like my former colleague and be free too and be my own boss.

We were able to avail of Sky Cable’s promo and so we have the Pacquiao-Bradley fight on Pay-Per-View last Sunday.

It was a very great fight and we enjoyed cheering for Manny as he throws hard punches which landed everywhere on Bradley that we thought that he will need knee walkers at the end of the fight.

By the 5th round, you can notice that Bradley was so dizzy already and weak that he looks as if he can no longer last another minute in the ring. His coaches were even asking him if he still wants to continue the fight.

But lo and behold, Bradley was declared the winner at the end of the 12th round to the surprise of everybody. The Twitter and Facebook world has been a venue where you can read criticisms even from boxing experts like Oscar dela Hoya and Mayweather Sr.

Oh well, I guess this is how dirty the boxing world is.

I have been under the weather the past couple of days. I have to take a sick leave from work for two days as per advise of the doctor who checked me so I can rest.

Hubby was so helpful with the kids so I can take my much-needed rest. He will go home early from work to help in taking care of our children. He would even pamper me that he will bring home treats that he knows I really love like my favorite chocolate dipped cookies.

These and all the love that my kids have shown me while I was sick have helped me recover fast. And so I am up to my feet after just a few days, was even able to attend the Saturday feeding in Ulingan and we will even be attending a swimming party later.
