Moving On

I am the type of person who rarely brings cash as I always use my credit cards for all my purchases. That is why when my HSBC card got hacked, I got really pissed and scared at the same time because this only means that there is really a security hole that hackers can always attack.

It took HSBC 8 months before they were finally able to settle my issue. I have to call them everyday to follow up and there even came a point that I gave up on them already and stop following up and I just let them handle it. I was surprised one day when I got a call from HSBC to inform me that they already reversed all the charges including the finance charge and late charge. I never really expected that it would get resolve as I never saw a real interest and effort on their part to resolve the issue.

But I am thankful that my nightmare with them is already over. I will just ask my sister to settle the balance for her extension card and it is time for me to say goodbye to HSBC. But like what I mentioned, I am very much dependent on credit cards so I have to look for a new credit card company that I can apply to so I can say goodbye to HSBC and move on from this nightmare.
