I posted in a previous entry about the Pyromusical Competition happening at SM Mall of Asia every Saturday. Hubby would love to go back and watch the countries performing this Saturday but he will be working overtime again so I am sure he will not have any energy left to have dinner and watch the competition in the evening after his overtime. - The Creamery: which is where we end up eating. They charge P350 for entrance to the restaurant which is consumable on food and drinks.
- Fish & Company: They charge P250 for entrance only. No wonder there is not much patrons in the restaurant.
- Racks: They charge P500 as entrance which is consumable also on food and drinks.
- Yakimix: But I was not able to inquire for the price as they are fully booked already when I inquired

• Be there early even if the show will start at 7 PM as it can be a bit crowded and you may have a hard time getting reservations and going to restaurants if you will arrive late.
• Be prepared for the traffic that you will face after the show.

My brother got confined again last Sunday because of extreme stomach pain. After several tests, the doctors are still not sure on what is causing the pain. My brother is scheduled for an x-ray tomorrow morning as the doctors need to conduct more tests to verify their suspicion for the root of the problem of my brother.

We were at SM Mall of Asia last Saturday to attend the birthday party of B’s classmate. After the party, we saw the poster for the Pyromusical Competition and so we decided to watch it since we are already at the venue anyways.


This is the second Philippine International Pyromusical competition and it is being held at SM Mall Asia every Saturday from February 12 to March 12 at 7 PM and 8 PM respectively.

There are 10 countries participating for this year’s competition namely: South Korea, Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom (defending champion), China, France, Japan, Canada, Australia and Philippines. Every Saturday, from February 12, each of them will have the pyromusical show at 7 PM and the next participating country at 8 PM.

Hubby got really entertained that he was able to take amazing pictures of the beautiful fireworks display and I think he got really hooked as he is suggesting that we go back again next Saturday to watch the other country’s show.

Hubby told me last night that he will sign up to join the upcoming Fun Run organized by DZMM dubbed as “Takbo Para sa Karunungan” to be held at CCP Complex this coming March.

This is the first time that hubby will join a marathon so I was even kidding him if I should start reading about force factor review to better prepare him for this event. LOL.

Yehey, we are finally booked for our early summer getaway on March 6-8. My cousin was able to negotiate a good rate for us since his boss knows the marketing manager of the resort. We booked four rooms for all of us and we will just add another room if ever my brother and his family decides to join us for this trip.

Crimson Resort is a new resort in Mactan which is beside Shangri-La. I think they just opened October last year so the facilities are still almost new. They are a five star resort like Shangri-La so I am sure that we made the right choice for our hotel accommodation since we can get the same five star resort treatment as Shangri-la (with butler service, hair and hand dryers in the restrooms, spa facilities, sports recreation facilities, etc) but at a fraction of the price of Shangri-La.

This would have been a perfect vacation for us but my only regret is hubby can’t join us for this trip as he can’t take a day off since it is their scheduled move to their new building. But I am sure, with Jacobo and B and with the rest of my family, it will still be one fun (and riot) vacation.

Now that Jacobo is seven months old, he loves grabbing things and putting it on his month. I don’t know why for some reason, one of his favorite is my iPhone. Maybe it is the big, bright display that attracts him and since the size is just right for his hands, he can easily play with it (which makes me want to buy good iphone 3g cases that can protect my iPhone in case Jacobo drops it) and toss it from one hand to the other.


I have been updating my blog about Jacobo as he is growing up so fast that I can’t cope up with his milestones and it is only through blogging that I can get to document those important milestones in Jacobo’s life. He is actually busy right now with his play class in Gymboree and I am actually thinking of enrolling him to swim class when he finishes with Gymboree.

I am sure I will be surprise at how fast my baby boy will grow. But for now I will enjoy hugging and kissing my boy while he still allows me.

Our house in Bulacan has been abandoned for more than a year now. So when hubby visited the house a few weeks ago, hubby got worried that it is beginning to deteriorate since no one is taking care of it.

That is why we decided to hire somebody who can stay in the house and take care of it. And so we were happy as my mom found the perfect person for this. We hired my mom’s former caretaker in the barangay and we are so lucky because after he stayed in the house for only 1 week, he was able to clean up the place and make it look like a real house again. I can’t believe that with just a simple cleaning and adding touches like furniture and bath rug, our house can be a very homey place again.

I am happy that we were able to find a very reliable care taker for our house. At least, even if we can’t get to visit our house every weekend, we have a peace of mind knowing that our house is in good hands.

2010 has been a very good year for my family financially. I was able to get a lot of work that allowed me to earn extra so I can treat my family and myself for some vacation and shopping. But looking at my Excel file made me realized that I was not able to save that much in 2010 and most of my earnings all went to things that we can definitely live without.

But I have no regrets as I was able to spend it for my family and I was able to make them happy. But my husband and I agreed that we already had enough shopping and this year is our time to make investments to save up for the future of our kids.
