I am supposed to be in bed now having a good night sleep because we have a flight to Bicol at 6:55 for my mother-in-laws “30 days” so I have to be up by 3am to prepare. But then, I still need to finish my pending works and I have to finalize the list of things for my sister to do for Bela’s school.
B will be absent for her Friday and Saturday classes. We actually have a meeting on Saturday to discuss about the Hong Kong trip of their Ballet class and I won’t be able to attend so I asked a favor from my sister if she can come instead. Good thing that she agreed so I won’t have any problem at all.
I am very thankful to my sister for doing this to me and to Bela. Aside from dropping and fetching Bela to school everyday, she’s also willing to do other important things for B. So sis, I really owe you one.

We were out yesterday as it has been a regular thing for us now to hear our Sunday mass in the church where hubby’s brother is the presiding priest who will officiate the mass. We left around 1 PM for the 2 PM mass at SM Megamall. We thought that there will be no traffic and we can make it there before 2 PM since it is a Sunday anyways but we were wrong.
There was a heavy downpour on our way there that streets are flooded and there was a heavy traffic already. When we reached SM Megamall, the entrance to the parking lot was jam-packed and there was no available parking space. Even the Valet Parking is full also. We waited and waited and we went around the building with the hope that we will find a vacant parking space but to no avail. We spend a good one hour looking for a parking slot and all our efforts were put to waste since we did not make it to my brother-in-law’s mass. This made me wish that we are just at home sitting in front of our
electric fireplace enjoying my hot cup of chocolate drink while I snuggle with hubby and my two kids on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
After an hour of going around in circles, we decided that there is no way that we will be able to park our car to meet with hubby’s siblings so we just decided to go somewhere else. But after an hour, the rain stopped and hubby decided that we go back to SM Megamall since his siblings and their family is still there waiting for us. We got lucky this time and we were able to find a parking slot in the open parking area near Podium.
After we parked our car, we met up with hubby’s siblings and spend a great evening with them as we had dinner at Pizza Hut.

1. When was the last time that you watched a sunrise? Who were you with? I really can’t remember when because it has been a long time already but I know that I am with B, hubby and my parents.
2. If President Obama promised he'd do one thing you asked, what would you ask him to do? Increase my salary and give monthly bonuses. LOL.
3. What is one experience that has strengthened your character the most so far? When we lost everything. I learned that if we will just learn to stand up again and persevere and put God at the center of our life, then there is nothing that I can’t do.
4. What is the first thing that you usually do after completing Saturday 9? Post the link to my post on Saturday 9’s website.
5. Tell us about someone either in your life or in the blogosphere that you think is extremely funny. My daughter B as she has a lot of antics that really makes us go crazy laughing.
6. Where was the last bed that you slept in that was not your own? At Pan pacific hotel a few weeks ago when we had to check in to a hotel because there was no power at home and we know the kids can’t survive the night without air-conditioning unit.
7. Have you ever been too drunk to remember anything? Nope.
8. Have you ever licked something to clean it? I think so.
9. Who, outside of family or a S/O, has influenced your life the most? My online friends

Every time my husband goes online, he does nothing but search for a site where he can get his
sports memorabilia. Often times, after spending hours on the net, he will still end up empty handed as most of the items that he found are really so expensive and is way over his budget. Thanks for sharing the site of Hollywood Collectibles Inc so now my husband can complete his collection of his
sports memorabilia without hurting his pocket.

I agree that one way to beautify a home is by installing nice
carpet and thanks for sharing this post and information about Carpet Express. We like to install a
carpet in our rooms but was quiet hesitant at first because we are aware at how costly
carpets can be. But after checking out this site, we became aware that we can definitely get nice
carpets at very affordable price.

This post is so timely as my friend is looking for an auction site where he can join
military auctions. I think Affiliated Auctions is really the best site for my friend to sell his stuff as they have the experience in buying and selling not just military stuff but other items as well like coins, jewelry or any other items that you can think of. So I am sure that he will sell his stuff soon with the help of Affiliated Auctions

How do you deal with
adult acne? I think I will have to face acne problems soon as I am so stressed out right now as I am starting to plan for three parties:
1. Jacobo’s Christening
2. B’s 5th Birthday
3. Jacobo’s first birthday
We will be having the baptism next month and so I have to start with the preparations. I already inquired with cake suppliers and have pencil booked August 22 already. I also found a souvenir supplier already and I am just waiting for hubby’s approval before I order the souvenirs. I also inquired with Jade Palace restaurant and they are still open on the date that I am targeting. Now I just have to wait for hubby’s brother, who is a priest, as he will take care in booking Archbishop’s Palace for the baptism ceremony.
I haven’t started on B’s birthday preparations as I only wanted a simple party for his fifth birthday but the grand parents and the aunties are pressuring me already to start preparing for B’s party because they are concerned that B is overly jealous already and is still adjusting with the coming of her baby brother. And so I really need to give her a party so she will not feel left behind with all the party preparations that I am doing for Jacobo. And so last week, I booked Arnold the magician for her party on November 20 and hopefully I will be able to drop by at Shakey’s Malate to book for their party package.
As per Jacobo’s first birthday, I already short listed the venue and I already spoke with my friend Mich for possible sponsorship at Valle Verde 6. I also checked North Greenhills clubhouse and they don’t require sponsors and they are still available on the date that I am targeting. Hopefully I can go out next week to check the two venues so I can book it already together with the magician that I want to book for the party.
Wooh, I don’t know how I will manage to survive planning for these parties.

Before I look for
insurance quotes, let me post this news first about Leonaro Di Caprio visiting the Philippines.
Leonardo confirmed through his Hollywood agents and publicists that he will be coming to the Philippines. It was earlier reported that Di Caprio will be arriving early 2011 but as it turned out, he will be arriving earlier than expected.
He will be here not to promote his movie Inception, but he has been invited by Joyce Ramirez, director for International Publicity at PR Asis Worldwide to promote an environmental-awareness project and to promote tourism industry in Albay.
Di Caprio will be staying in Misibis Bay, an ultra-luxurious resort in Albay for a week so it is still not sure if he will drop by in Manila.
This will be a definite boost in the Philippines’ tourism industry. My husband is from Bicol and I never heard of this ultra luxirous resort until I read this news.

If before I need
over the counter sleep aids to get a good night sleep, now that baby boy is already here, I need something to help me stay up all night. LOL.
I promised that I will really try harder this time to succeed in breastfeeding and so I have been breastfeeding our dear baby boy even at night. And since he feeds almost every hour, this means I am awake almost every hour too.
But my baby boy is such a very good boy because he never cries unless he is hungry. If his tummy is full, he just plays quietly in his crib or he just snuggled quietly and comfortably in his co-sleeper.
Baby boy is thirteen days old now and looks like he gained a lot of weight already. We will be visiting his pediatrician on the 21st of July and we will see how much weight he has gained. Now I know that breastfeeding is really the best milk for babies and I am glad that I really worked harder this time to give my baby boy nothing but the best.
