THE AWESOME MODELS OF THE TAG REPLICA BRAND

The Aquaracer facsimile is a well known brand in the watch industry. It is known for its dynamic models which are causing waves in the Swiss Watch world. Among the latest models include: the Link, the Carrera, the Monaco, the Aquaracer and many more.

These wonderful models are the unique carbon copies of the original brand developed by the great watch dealer namely, Edouard Heuer who came up with the brand in 1860 there in Switzerland. Ever since the introduction of the original brand of Tag, the watch industry is yet to recover from its positive effect.

Meanwhile the replica versions came as a result of the costly nature of the originals. The replicas are currently going for the average amount of $280 and below. This makes them the delight of the hoi polloi of the society. The low income earners also go for it always as well as some of the rich people who are loosing their jobs in the face of economic meltdown.
The replica Tag models are known for their specifications in the watch industry. The replica Aquaracer for instance is a well known sports watch model. It is inbuilt with a powerful chronometer feature which serves as a stopwatch used in the regulation of the time during games and other events. The Carrera replica model is mainly used as a fashion booster. It has wonderful bracelets that add a lot to the fashion make-up of its users.

The Link model of the Tag replica brand is also known as a wonderful dress watch used in fashion boosting.

Generally, all the replica models are known for their efficiency in time regulation. They do keep to accurate time always. This is mainly because of the quality of the internal structures used in their production.

Tyra Bank’s Show Last Season

After Oprah Winfrey, Tyra Banks has also announced that after five season and two Daytime Emmy Awards, Tyra is also saying goodbye to her daytime talk show.

This will be the last season of the Tyra Banks Show with the fifth season ending this spring 2010. Tyra decided to gave up her daily talk show because she wanted to concentrate on the launch of her new film production company, Bankable Studios. According to Tyra, with this new venture, she aims to bring positive images of women to big screen.

I don’t get to watch her show religiously but every time I got the chance, I really watch it from start to finish as the shows brings different topics about women empowerment which are truly inspiring.

But we will still see Tyra on TV as America’s Next Top Model returns on its 14th season in February and Tyra’s ABC show True Beauty.

Ergonomics in the Work Environment

A few weeks ago, I attended a seminar about Office Ergonomics conducted by De La Salle University’s Human Factors Engineering Center. The Human Factors Engineering Center of De La Salle University is a center that conducts research in the area of human factors and ergonomics and their aim is to help industries develop a better working condition for their employees.

My company has took an initiative in hiring HFEC to conduct an ergonomic audit of the office to identify and correct potential workplace problems which I think is really a good management effort. The audit includes activities such as inspecting offices, taking measurements of furniture such as Office Chairs, and conducting illumination and sound level measurement tests.

The result of the audit conducted found out that most of the ergonomic problems experienced by the staff are due to improper setup of workstation and the employees’ lack of knowledge with how to properly maximize the ergonomics feature of their Chairs.

After the audit report, training has been given to all staff. During the training, the trainers demonstrate how to properly setup the workspace to avoid ergonomic related problems such as repetitive stress injuries. It was an interactive hands-on session that provided employees with practical tips that we can incorporate in our own workspace. They even have Executive Chairs during the training session and the trainer demonstrated the basic functions of the ergonomic chair to help employees maximize the nice ergonomic feature of their office furniture. After the training, the trainers were also available for a couple days to entertain staff with their questions and give them advice on how to improve their workplace.

All staff are really happy with this training organized by management as this will help them have a better time while at work and also will help employees improve their work. This is indeed a win-win scenario both for the employee and the employer.

Health Service the Filipinos are getting

A good friend of mine just gave birth last December 28. The bad news is that there was a complication during her delivery which is why she is still at the hospital right now. They also need to get blood donors as she needs blood transfusion as her hemoglobin level is very low (I am not sure if I got the medical terms right). Her baby is still under observation and is being monitored as the baby had a seizure on its second day.

They had been having problems with the needed blood for her transfusion because she was admitted at a public hospital. The rule is, the family has to replace the blood that will be use for the transfusion first before a blood transfusion will be administered to her. My mom helped them looked for blood donors but since it is a holiday, they said that nobody will process the request. We are talking of lives at risk here and this is the answer that they will get from our health officials and I was really shock. Is this the kind of health treatments that we are getting from our public hospitals?

That is why my husband and I really made sure that the health of our family should be our first priority and that is the reason why we have health insurance so we are sure that we are covered for whatever health needs our family will have. I am just checking insurance online since it is the end of the year and we have to renew ours and this should be the first thing that I should take care of as we enter 2010.

I just spoke with my mom and she told me that my friend’s condition is stable right now but she still needs three more bags of blood for her blood transfusion. I am praying that everything will be okay with her and her baby and this will be the best New Year’s gift that their family will ever receive.

Charlie Sheen in Jail on Christmas Day

Charlie Sheen spends his Christmas in jail after being arrested for domestic violence. He was sent to Pitkin County jail and was booked for investigation of second-degree assault, menacing, criminal mischief, and a misdemeanor.

A 911 call was received from a ski resort in Aspen and it is suspected that it is a call from her wife, Brooke Mueller. Sheen was able to get out of jail in the afternoon after paying a bond of $8,500.

Charlie Sheen has had records of domestic violence when he was arrested in 1996 for attacking his girlfriend in their Southern California home. There was also a report that he shot her girl friend Kelly Preston (who is now married to actor John Travolta) but Sheen claimed that it was just an accident. Domestic violence was also reported by her ex-wife Denise Richards.

Charlie Sheen married Brooke Mueller last 2008 after Sheen’s divorce with Denise Richards and they had their twins last March. Reports say that the marriage of Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen has been broken beyond repair but publicist of Sheen said that they have two kids and they love each other.

To Welcome 2010

Yellow will be our color to welcome the New Year. We will have a family reunion again but this time, instead of celebrating it at my grand mother’s house, we will be outside Manila.

The organizing committee (LOL) composed of me, my aunt and my cousin had a meeting yesterday to prepare for the menu for our Noche Buena, the program, and the different activities to keep the whole family busy as we wait for the coming of 2010. We all decided that we will all wear yellow so we will all look nice for our family picture which we failed to do last Christmas because we are all so busy. We don’t know if yellow is the lucky color for 2010 but since majority of us have yellow colored shirts and since we just decided about this yesterday which gives us no time to shop, we all decided that Yellow will be our family’s color.

We have also booked the guest house where we will be staying for the night. We will bring cooked food for our Media Noche but we will just cook there for our breakfast and will have our New Year’s lunch in a restaurant. The guest house have kitchen facilities, kitchen faucets, utensils and kitchen appliances so we can just bring raw foods and cook it there so we can save a little.

The following day, we will leave the guest house around 11 AM for our brunch and then the kids can do other outdoor activities before heading back to Manila. We are all excited as all of us will be present for the reunion so I am sure it will be a blast. What a great way to welcome the New Year!!

Back to Watching my Favorite TV Shows Again

Ever since my daughter started going to school, the time that she spent watching television has been lessened which is what we really wanted. Since she goes to school for three hours, her eyes can rest from watching the whole morning and since she is tired after going to school, she gets to take a nap as soon as she arrives home. She also is used to doing other activities aside from watching like painting, reading books, playing with her animal toys, which are some of the things that they do in school.

This made me one happy mom. I know that too much TV is not good for children so at least now her TV exposure has been lessened. Second reason why I am so happy about this development is that I get to watch my favorite TV shows again since she now gives me my time on the TV.

Just like this morning, I was watching my favorite reality TV show, the Amazing Race. I love this show because it is really interesting. Imagine different people, from all walks of life, with different careers, of different age, sex or race, competing for one million dollars. They will all be face with different challenges, both mental and physical which will really test the strength, unity, patience and solidarity of the team.

And it is interesting to know that not all of the strongest teams win. Just like what happened to my favorite Philippine team, which joined Amazing Race Asia, Marc and Rovilson. They consistently win first place in almost all the legs but they did not end up winning the final leg. So you will never really know what to expect from the show.

I was not able to finish the final episode this morning because we have to leave for my check up but I will surely wait for the replay.

Listening to Classical Music

When I had my first baby, I started listening to music of Mozart because there have been studies that it is good for the baby’s brain development. I think it really worked for my daughter because she is growing up to be a smart kid. I even consulted a developmental pedia, and he said that my daughter is potentially gifted.

So for our second baby, we will try to do it again. Though our problem is since I am at home and my daughter is busy watching her favorite movie, I can’t turn on our radio to listen to classical music. Hubby suggested that he will buy me one of those ipods and he will just load it with classical music songs and he will buy those ipod speakers so I can plug it also if I am just in my room. The beauty about ipod is it is compact so I can bring it with me everywhere I go.

I better check buy.com so I can select the color that I want for my ipod so hubby can buy it and baby and I can start listening to Mozart’s classical music.

Planning Mode

Since December 25 will fall on a Friday, it will be a long weekend. Since I am already on sick leave because I was advice to take a bed rest, it will be hubby who will be very happy with this.

Today is his last day at work so he can stay at home and bond with us for four straight days after today. I wonder what we can do during the long weekend:

1. Like I posted in my previous post, Christmas Eve and Christmas day will be spent at home with my family.
2. Maybe I can go visit a Plano cosmetic dentist but I am not sure though if they will be open during the long weekend since it is the holiday season.
3. I am dying to go to Tagaytay and stay there even for just one night and then we will have breakfast at Bag of Beans and have lunch at Josephine’s but I am sure hubby and my parents will not agree with what I am planning since I really need to take a bed rest.
4. I am also thinking to just stay at a hotel located in the city where we can spend the weekend after Christmas. It will be a perfect place for me to really have a rest while spending some bonding time with hubby and B.

Being at home for the whole day doing nothing gives me all the time in the world to plan for things like this. LOL.

Ho-Ho-Ho! Merry Christmas!

I was looking for term term life insurance online when I realized that Christmas is only two days away. So what are your plans for Christmas? As for my family, we have no plans to go out of town. Well for one, I am not allowed to go on long travel because as per my doctor’s advice, I have to take a complete bed rest so we will be celebrating Christmas at home with my side of the family.

We usually go to hear Christmas mass on Christmas eve at my former school. Then after mass, we will all gather at my grandmother’s house for our Noche Buena. We only have simple food for Noche Buena but I am excited to taste my grand mother’s specialty which is her spaghetti. Then on Christmas day, we will have our annual family reunion. My aunt ordered food from CCME and we really made sure that we placed our orders early so they can deliver it on Christmas day, otherwise we have to go to their shop in Quezon City (which is what we did last year) to pick up the food. After lunch, we will have our exchange gifts which I am sure all the kids (and the kids at heart) are really waiting for.

We usually go to my in-laws house in the afternoon to celebrate Christmas with them but I am not sure if we will be able to do it this year. One of hubby’s nieces has chickenpox and being pregnant, I can’t take the risk of being exposed to the virus. Even hubby and B can’t go too as they might become carriers of the virus. Hubby and I talked about it briefly last night and looks like, hubby doesn’t want to take the risk also which I am sure my in-laws will perfectly understand.

Christmas is really one of my favorite holidays so I am really excited for it. Two more days and it is Ho-Ho-Ho for Merry Christmas!

Are you ready for Christmas?

I have accumulated a lot of receipts from different receipt printer from different stores for my Christmas shopping this year. LOL. Unlike last year where I bought all our gifts mostly in just one store, I was able to go around different malls. You see, I am three months pregnant now and before I was advised by my doctor to have a complete bed rest, I was able to go around and shop. But I get tired easily so I usually shop for a few items at a time and then I will shop again the next time we are at the mall (which is usually almost every week).

But in spite of that, I was still not able to finish my Christmas shopping list. I still have a few of my god children and relatives that I haven’t bought gifts yet. I can’t hit the mall because I was advised by my doctor to have a complete bed rest because of my sensitive pregnancy so I have no choice but to just follow the doctor’s advice and stay at home.

But all the gifts have been wrapped already (thanks to the free wrapper that hubby got from Toys R’ Us) so we’re kind of ready for Christmas. LOL. And what is really important for me is that our family is complete to celebrate Christmas together and we have already received the best Christmas present ever, which is a new addition to our family.

Luxury or Necessity?

Sometimes I wonder if having a car is a necessity or is just a luxury especially if you have to spend hundred of dollars for repair. But for my friend who lives in San Francisco, having a car is a necessity especially for her case because she needs to drive long distance everyday to go to work.

My friend owns a honda accord and they say that when it comes to parts replacement, Honda cars have the most expensive parts as compared to other car brands. But thanks to RepairPal, my friend never had problems looking for San Francisco auto repair every time she needs to send her car for repair.

Just like when the timing belt of her car needs replacement, she just search the site of RepairPal for a list of car repair shops located near her area. What she likes about the site of RepairPal is that she can do a search by car make or model and a list will be instantly given to her. She can even check the service center’s overall score based on quality of work and customer service so she can choose the best car service shop for her needs.

Buy N’ Sell Secrets

My friend from Chicago is in to buy and sell of cars. He buys old cars and he just sends it for repair and he earns big money after reselling it. You know how he does it?

Well, first he has this real love for cars so he knows what car to look and which car is saleable. Like the Toyota Corolla which he recently purchased. The body and the machine are still ok and the only problem is with the water pump.

Then he will rely on the website of RepairPal to search for Chicago auto repair. He just types in the city or state and a list of auto repair shops in that city or state will be given to him. And once the repair is finish, he can just look for a buyer and sell the almost new car at a very good deal. So it is really a win-win scenario for both my friend and the buyer because my friend earns good money for doing this while giving his seller second hand cars at a very affordable price but still in very good condition.

Yellow is the New Color of Courage

The late President Corazon Aquino has been a true inspiration for the Filipino people. She only started as the housewife of then Senator Ninoy Aquino and she became president after the long reign of the Dictator Ferdinand Marcos. After her term as a president, she became a very inspirational figure as she continues to embody a true leader and we have all witness how she fights cancer.

As a tribute to the President Corazon Aquino, Philip Stein created the limited edition Corazon Aquino commemorative watch. Of course, the color of the watch is yellow following Cory’s signature color. It also has a yellow ribbon on the dial and a yellow lizard strap. Since President Cory is the 11th Philippine President, the number 11 is highlighted in yellow and the following phrase is engraved at the back of the watch together with her profile picture: “A Tribute to the 11th President of the Philippines Corazon C. Aquino—Mother of Democracy” and her profile.

The watch is being endorsed by the President’s daughter, Kris Aquino. Here is a picture of the Commemorative watch (picture snagged from lucernejewelers.com).

Accounting Problems?

When my brother and I put up our own business, one thing that we learned is that there should be an efficient accounting system so we can stay on top of all our business’ finances.

I spoke to my friend the other day and she is ranting about her financial problems with her business. You see, she still use a manual system to do all the accounting of her business finances and it is giving her so much headache already as she always end up getting inaccurate reports. And now that the business is growing, she knows that she needs more than a manual system to stay on top of her business finances. That is why when I heard of her problem, I immediately told her that it is time to get a Las Vegas CPA to help her with her business.

A CPA firm like Kondler CPA can offer her services that will help her with the accounting, audit and reporting of all finances for her business. She couldn’t agree with me more so she immediately picked up the phone to contact Kondler CPA.

Redecorating for Summer

Here in the Philippines, after the Christmas season, it will be the hot summer months and it will be the perfect time to do house renovations and renovations. My husband is really in the mood to redecorate our house. He has been planning to do it for the longest time already but he is really so busy with work. But he already started to clean up and throw some of our old stuff as he really plans to redecorate our house as soon as the busy Christmas season is over so it is a good sign that he is really serious with his renovation plans. And I guess he is really serious because as early as now my husband is already asking me to look for Window Coverings for our house. He said that this is where he will start the redecoration as he needs the perfect way to control the light coming in to our house for the perfect mood and setup that he wants.

I have checked out the Bali Blinds and it is one of my favorites. I love the sleek and classy design of the blinds and it even provides for greater light control which is what we want specially we plan to put it in our living room and bedroom.

Another of my favorite is the Hunter Douglas blinds. Just look at this:

It looks so clean and refreshing just perfect for the mood that my husband wants to establish. But these are just my choices and I still have to show it to my husband and I am sure he will have his own set of favorites too. But it is definite that we will order our blinds from Blind Saver as their products are really affordable, of high quality and they even offer free ground shipping.

You’ll Never Go Wrong with Gold

Since our family is growing, my husband and I decided that we should start looking for other investment options so we can start saving for the future of our family. My friend who is into gold investment gave me the site of Gold Coins Gain where I can request for a free gold guide.

And that is what I did, I checked out their site and requested for my own free gold guide and I learned that gold is really a very good investment. Gold doesn’t depreciate in time and it has a high resale value so we can easily convert it to cash if needed. It is also universally accepted and can be easily stored.

I shared all the information that I got with my husband and he totally agreed that investing in gold is a wise investment option and with the help of experienced and competent staff of Gold Coins Gain, who is one of the best gold price provider to household investors like us, we will be assured that we will get the best price the market has to offer. I know you will all agree with me, that with gold investment, you can never go wrong.

Planning for our Next Vacation

It is almost the end of the year and in just a few months, when the new fiscal year begins, my husband and I will have a new set of vacation leaves. This means we can go on another vacation and we are really considering Myrtle Beach Resort for our next vacation.

A friend who recently had their vacation at Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort highly recommends it. My friend went there with her husband and two kids who is almost the same age as our daughter. My friend said that there is so much that we can do in Myrtle Beach Resorts that a week will not be enough. They have a lot of activities that both adults and kids will enjoy like a visit to the Ripley's Aquarium or Alligator Adventure, which I am sure my daughter will really love. They also have great amenities like kiddie pool, a lazy river and even a golf course.

I checked out the site of Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resorts and I learned that they are the #1 Family Beach in the US which got me really convinced that this is a perfect vacation spot for families with toddlers like us and for families who enjoyed nothing but the beach, the sand and the sun. Hopefully my husband and I can really save up for this trip.
