Ever since my daughter started going to school, the time that she spent watching television has been lessened which is what we really wanted. Since she goes to school for three hours, her eyes can rest from watching the whole morning and since she is tired after going to school, she gets to take a nap as soon as she arrives home. She also is used to doing other activities aside from watching like painting, reading books, playing with her animal toys, which are some of the things that they do in school.
This made me one happy mom. I know that too much TV is not good for children so at least now her TV exposure has been lessened. Second reason why I am so happy about this development is that I get to watch my favorite TV shows again since she now gives me my time on the TV.
Just like this morning, I was watching my favorite reality TV show, the Amazing Race. I love this show because it is really interesting. Imagine different people, from all walks of life, with different careers, of different age, sex or race, competing for one million dollars. They will all be face with different challenges, both mental and physical which will really test the strength, unity, patience and solidarity of the team.
And it is interesting to know that not all of the strongest teams win. Just like what happened to my favorite Philippine team, which joined Amazing Race Asia, Marc and Rovilson. They consistently win first place in almost all the legs but they did not end up winning the final leg. So you will never really know what to expect from the show.
I was not able to finish the final episode this morning because we have to leave for my check up but I will surely wait for the replay.
